Boudoir Events

I am always in the process of planning more fabulous trips to all sorts of exciting places and performances - cabaret clubs, theatres, restaurants, the TG scene's key annual events and even foreign locations are all part of a constantly developing and exhilarating future agenda!! Some of The Boudoir's forthcoming event plans for 2010 are already listed below - and don't forget the Latest News page is always worth keeping an eye on for additions to The Boudoir's diary and of course watch your email inbox too.

Trannyshack, Madame Jojo's, London

The Boudoir is pleased to present a mid-week opportunity to get out and about for those of you who find weekends difficult. Wednesdays are Trannyshack night at Madame Jojo's on Brewer Street, in the heart of London’s Soho. In my opinion the venue, the music and the vibe make this the best tranny night in London at this present time. The music is friendly, the hosts are a plethora of colour and imaginative drag that resembles the feel of the 80s London drag scene and the crowd is mixed and fascinating. Trannyshack attracts a host of unusual, colourful and flamboyant people who just love drag… either being in it, or just being around it. Dusty O, Lady Lloyd, and Tasty Tim are the most glamorous hosts in London and they never fail to make this night special. The cabaret spot midway through the night is an absolute scream and well worth watching.

Every Wednesday an uber-eclectic mix of Klub Kids, Trannies, Drag Queens, Inbetweenies, Fabulous Hetros and Scene Queens get together for one hell of a party!! You can’t fail to have fun at Trannyshack. Everything is geared towards it, from the pole dancing drag queens to the legendary open mic session where anyone can get up and perform their party piece if they are crossdressed. Trannyshack regularly hosts special PAs which in the past have included Lady Bunny, Marcella Detroit, Laquisha Jonez and pretty much all of London’s drag stars. The music is party pop and fashionably funky provided by 3 of London’s scene legends Dusty "O", Tasty Tim and Lady Lloyd. It’s free before midnight if you surrender your gender and party in heels and lippy, otherwise it's £5.00. Everyone loves Trannyshack. Come once and we promise you, you will return!!

Here’s the deal: Makeover and hair at The Boudoir (including false nails or your own nails painted) - Wardrobe can be provided upon prior request - Tea, coffee, wine or champagne and our famous nibbles at The Boudoir - The cost of the trip is £195 not including taxi fares, club entrance fees (if applicable) or any food and drink consumed while out.

Makeover slots will be confirmed a little nearer to the event, but bear in mind we do now try to operate on a first come first served appointment slot basis. These events are going to be very popular and The Boudoir Dressing Service is proud to be the only dressing service in England that provides this opportunity at this high class level, so be sure to book ASAP to avoid disappointment.

WayOut Nightclub, Charlie's Bar, London

Boudoir Weekend Nightclub Trips will usually (but not absolutely always) happen on the third Saturday of the month and take in  The WayOut Club –  the most legendary TG venue in the country. There is a more detailed description of the club here.

The package includes: A stunning evening makeover and wig styling by Jodie Lynn, nails (your own painted or false) plus drinks and nibbles at The Boudoir. An Escorted Trip to a meal at a top restaurant - then onto The WayOut Club until 4am or till you drop!! After all the fun we then return back to The Boudoir to change back.

The price is £195 not including taxi fares, restaurant bills or club entrance fees. If you would like to book a place, you can call me on 020 8211 1666 or email info@theboudoironline.com. A 50% deposit (a full 48 hours cancellation notice required for refund) to secure your place will be asked for. Please also note that the appointment times will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Pink Punters Nightclub Trip & Meal - Fenny Stratford, Nr. Milton Keynes

The Boudoir is going to be at the Camponile Hotel to provide makeovers for a night at Pink Punters nightclub in Fenny Stratford (near Milton Keynes) on Saturday 18th September 2010. As usual, we will be having a pre-club meal at The Bridge. With the excellent value Camponile Hotel, The Bridge and Pink Punters all being a five minute walk from each other, it couldn't be more convenient and hassle free. Makeovers will be at the usual 'away' rate of £80. If you would like to reserve a place please call on 020 8211 1666 or email info@theboudoironline.com. A 50% deposit will be required to confirm your place on this event. Makeover slots will be confirmed a little nearer to the event, but bear in mind we do now try to operate on a first come first served appointment slot basis. Makeovers will start in the afternoon.
